Is XsitePro a Marketers Dream Come True?

The makers of XsitePro, have made a very bold claim, the headline on their website states "How to Double Your Website Income in Less than 1 Hour and Multiply Your Online Earnings by 10 in Just 5 Days". So, how can this be the case? Well, they claim that by using XsitePro you can Leverage your time and therefore build more income producing websites quicker, which will in turn bring you more income. Now, XsitePro is not cheap, but I was impressed enough to shell out $197 and run this product through it's paces. The first thing I noticed was that XsitePro uses a very different methodology compared to other Website Design software. Unlike Frontpage, or Dreamweaver, XsitePro gives the user a structured environment to build your websites. Building a Website using XsitePro The first thing you do is create a project. You give it a name, enter your keywords, put in a project description and any other Notes relating to this project.  You then create a website under this project. All keywords are automatically inherited from your project

The next step is to refine the keyword list that you want to target for your website. You then design the page layout, this is where you set up the overall look and feel of your page. Once this is done you can create your web pages. XsitePro streamlines your keyword optimisation by automatically inheriting the keywords and the page layout. You can then refine your keywords further for each page. The page layout is WYSIWYG and works very much like a word processor. However, the more technical people can also see the source code if they want. You can also preview your work easily by simply pressing the preview button. However, the redirect pages and php pages do not work in the preview. The last step in your page design is to utilise the Search Engine Optimisation tools. These tools willl tell you in plain english how to optimise your page to rank well in the Search Engines.  This feature is great as you not only save time but you also save money as you don't need to purchase another piece of software. Once you have finished building your website, you can generate a site To Do list report. This report tells you all the critical and non critical items that you still have outstanding. When I ran this across my finished website, XsitePro came up with another 150 Critical items that I had overlooked. Once you have completed your website, you can either load it directly onto your Server or you can export it for further refinement in Dreamweaver or Frontpage.

Software Weaknesses

Although XsitePro is a very powerful piece of software, that will save you time, it does have some limitations that I came across during the review:

• XsitePro does not allow you to reference sub directories. So in my case I have a links directory under the "Links" folder which I could not access. However, I overcame this limitation using the "include file" command in the source code (You could also use a redirect page). 
  
• I could not work out how to do a site map in XsitePro, but again I overcame this limitation by designing my site map in dreamweaver and then using an include file.
  
• I also found that I could not preview PHP pages or the redirect pages. I did not find a work around for this feature
  

Software Strengths

However, the advantages of XsitePro far outwieghed the disadvantages of using this software and I found that I could build a website in a couple of days that would normally have taken me over a week. (Visit My Wealth Plan to see the end result)

There are a lot of time saving features in this software:

• XsitePro gets you to work in a structured way, where you can have all the websites put under each project. This allows you to work efficiently and  there is no more searching hard drives for various files.
  
• XsitePro automatically creates a site map for your website which can be sorted Alphabetically of Heirarchically.
  
• The power pack allows you to automatically create a Google Sitemap.
  
• Breadcrumbs can be incorporated into your site with a click of a button .
  
• Importing articles using software like Article Miner is not too difficult and these pages are automatically included as children of your parent documents along with links.
  
• The Search Engine Optimisation features are a nice addition
  
• You can insert Google Adsense into your pages with a click of a button.
  
• You can create your Robots.txt file easily.
  
• You can install pop ups, pop ins, op overs, and pop exits.

Summary 

XsitePro is not for everybody, it was really designed with the marketer in mind, where you can create high quality websites quickly that will ranki highly in the Search Engines and provide you with more streams of income.

Although there are some limitations, the more technical among us can speed up their development by creating their sites in XsitePro, and then exporting it to Dreamweaver for refinement if required.

Although this software has a high price tag ($197 USD), I believe it is well worth the investment as it will free you up from the more technical aspects of site design and allow you to concentrate more on your marketing ideas.

If you take into account that this software also contained Search Engine Optimisation, then the price does appear more reasonable.

If you are interested in leveraging your time and creating multiple websites to create more income streams, then this software is for you.
